SUMMARY OF POSITION: Ensures customer satisfaction and safety at the City of Seguin Wave Pool through vigilant supervision and emergency response. Enforces pool rules, communicates effectively, and works with diverse populations. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor patron safety and enforce rules; initiate water rescues; administer First Aid/CPR; maintain rescue-ready skills; react to emergencies with quick movements/strenuous activity; remain alert while sitting/standing/walking; support programs and special events; clean and maintain public areas; attend mandatory in-service training; other related duties. REQUIRED KSAs: At least 16 years old; available weekends/holidays; must be able to swim. EXPERIENCE: Previous lifeguard experience preferred but not required. CERTIFICATES/LICENSES: Must successfully complete lifeguard certification training. Starting Salary: $14.00/hour. Position Will Remain Open Until Filled. AA/EOE.
