PAY GROUP: TP 10. SUMMARY OF POSITION: Assists with maintenance of the golf course from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Monday–Friday. Operates light/handheld equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Mow greens/tees/fairways/roughs; trim trees/brush; pick up trash; rake sand traps; clean/maintain restrooms; operate light equipment (tractor, mower, chainsaw, weed eater); perform routine vehicle inspections; assist with safety suggestions; load/transport/unload materials; perform light plumbing/maintenance/construction/carpentry; observe safety rules. REQUIRED KSAs: Safe equipment operation; physical ability to work in varied weather, lift up to 85 lbs., and perform manual labor; ability to operate/maintain equipment, make minor repairs, follow instructions, and maintain a Texas DL and good record; turf management knowledge desirable. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: HS diploma or equivalent and at least one year operating light equipment; or sufficient education to read/write plus two years operating light equipment; or equivalent combination. LICENSE: Texas Class C DL. Starting Salary: $13.68/hour. Position Will Remain Open Until Filled. AA/EOE.
