PAY GROUP: 5. SUMMARY OF POSITION: Assists with golf course maintenance; operates light equipment; may include driving trucks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Mow greens/tees/fairways/roughs; trim trees/brush; pick up trash; clean/rake sand traps; clean/maintain restrooms; assist fertilizing; change cups/move tee markers; assist irrigation repairs; operate light equipment (tractor, mower, chainsaw, weed eater, shredder, truck); perform inspections; assist with safety; transport materials; perform light plumbing/maintenance/construction/carpentry; observe safety rules. REQUIRED KSAs: Safe equipment operation; physical ability for varied weather and lifting up to 85 lbs.; ability to operate/repair equipment, follow instructions, work cooperatively, knowledge of turf management desirable; maintain Texas DL and good record. EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: HS diploma or equivalent and one year operating light equipment, or sufficient education plus two years’ experience. LICENSE: Texas Class C DL. Starting Salary: $17.85/hour.
