Job Description: PART-TIME GOLF SHOP ASSISTANT. PAY GROUP: TP 16. SUMMARY: Assists Golf Course Manager and Golf Pro with daily operation of the golf shop including retail sales and customer service. Part-time (<20 hrs/week), rotating shifts including weekends; not benefits-eligible. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Schedule tee times; check-in players; process POS payments; manage pace of play; assist with tournament setup and events; inventory control (receiving, pricing, displays, sales); maintain cleanliness/organization; assist with golf cart operations and practice facility; observe safety. REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of golf, rules, facility operations, tournament ops; ability to follow instructions; use Word/Excel; maintain relationships; stand/walk for extended periods; maintain positive professional image; maintain Texas driver’s license (as applicable) and good record. EXPERIENCE: HS diploma or equivalent and one year related experience. CERTIFICATES/LICENSES: At least 18; valid Texas Driver’s License or reliable transportation; TABC Seller/Server Certification (or ability within 30 days). Starting Salary: $12.00/hour.
