JAAM INSTRUCTOR - Seasonal (2026–2027 School Year). PAY GROUP: TP 4. SUMMARY: Under the Recreation Superintendent and Lead Instructor, responsible for day-to-day supervision and implementation of the designated after school program and curriculum at an assigned campus; lead/explain activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Enforce policies/procedures; supervise daily arrival/departure of participants; ensure safety; maintain order/discipline using behavior policies; complete payroll expectations daily; set up activity areas and store equipment; attend trainings/meetings; inform Lead Instructor of issues. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum age 16; experience with school-age children; ability to work with staff and supervisor; supervise/motivate children; maturity and sound judgment. PHYSICAL: Lift/maneuver up to 25 lbs; work indoors/outdoors; sit/stand/bend/walk; actively lead games/physical activities. CERTIFICATES/LICENSES: Obtain Community First Aid/CPR/AED within 60 days.
