LEAD JAAM INSTRUCTOR - Seasonal (2026–2027 School Year). PAY GROUP: TP 7. SUMMARY: Under the Recreation Superintendent, responsible for day-to-day supervision, planning, and implementation of an after school program and curriculum at an assigned campus. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Enforce policies; supervise arrivals/departures; ensure safety; oversee daily operations with strong family/community/school relations; maintain order via behavior policies; administrative duties (payments, receipts, bank drops, registration forms); submit required paperwork timely; plan/supervise/implement curriculum; set up and secure equipment; direct/guide staff; aid in training and meetings; supervise staff and provide evaluations/discipline as needed; participate in trainings/meetings; manage inventory/orders; pick up supplies; report concerns. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum age 18; experience with school-age children; curriculum delivery/program facilitation; effective communication; ability to supervise/motivate staff/children; maturity and sound judgment; HS diploma or equivalent plus at least two years working with school-aged children. PHYSICAL: Lift up to 25 lbs; work indoors/outdoors; active participation. CERTIFICATES/LICENSES: Texas Class C driver’s license; First Aid/CPR/AED within 60 days. Starting Salary: $14.00/hour.
