Job Description: PRO SHOP MANAGER. PAY GROUP: 12/5. SUMMARY: Oversees daily operations of a golf shop, including driving retail sales, managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service; manages POS systems, collects sales, trains staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Manage shop assistants and outside services (range/carts); schedule shifts; operate tee sheets for individuals, groups, tournaments; maintain contact with Head Golf Professional and GM; ensure welcoming environment. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Maintain professional expertise (golf management, accounting, operations); encourage staff development; knowledge of golf and rules; role model behavior; strong organization/planning; initiative; service/client-driven; strong communication; CRM; positive professional image. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years golf industry experience or significant experience plus formal golf education; strong business aptitude and passion for golf; strong computer/math skills (Word/Excel); strong communication/interpersonal; highly organized; goal-driven; Texas driver’s license and good driving record.
