Scope of Responsibility
As a Speech Therapist you will develop a plan of care for patients to include evaluation, testing, exercise and training program based on the patient’s ability.
Responsible to the Director of Inpatient Rehab Unit.
- Education
- Must have a Master’s Degree from an ASHA (CCC) approved graduate program
- Must hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence
Training and Experience- Must hold a current license to practice in the State of Texas
- Obtains and Maintains American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers
- One year of clinical experience as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with prior experience in adult speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders. Prior experience with performing MBS
- Certification in Vital Simulation desired
