Scope of Responsibility

This position will also work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the care team to assess patients’ nutritional needs, develop personalized meal and lifestyle plans, and educate patients on evidence-based strategies to improve overall health and prevent disease. The ideal candidate demonstrates clinical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and a patient-centered approach. Reports to Supervising Physician.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field required.
• Must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), or hold equivalent state recognized certification/Licensure

Training and Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and chronic disease management.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
