DAY SHIFT

3 12 Hour shifts/week; Days rotate weekly

Scope of Responsibility

In this role, you will take the lead on core clinical pharmacy services, including:

  • Antibiotic stewardship and therapeutic drug monitoring
  • Medication consults and drug information support
  • Renal dosing adjustments and clinical interventions
  • Verification and dispensing of medication orders
  • Sterile IV admixture preparation
  • Patient and staff education on safe medication practices

You will report directly to the Director of Pharmacy and work closely with nurses, physicians and other clinical team members.

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Registered Pharmacist in the State of Texas

Training and Experience

  • IV certification required
  • Hospital or inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
  • Minimum experience: hospital internship rotation
