Scope of Responsibility

The Endoscopy Tech will provide nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed professional.

Responsible to Director of Endoscopy

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Training and Experience
    • Medical Assistant, Nurse Aide, or EMT experience required
    • Two years acute care experience preferred
    • Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider
    • Obtains and maintains CFER certification

  • Health and Background Requirements
    • Employment contingent upon successful completion of:
      • Background Check
      • Lab Work
      • Immunization Records

Rarely (Less than ½ hour per day)
