Scope of Responsibility

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is also responsible for documenting findings in compliance with regulatory bodies.

Responsible to Director of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit

  • Education
    • Must be graduate of an AOTA approved school with Associate Degree in O.T.
    • Current State of Texas licensure is required with certification by AOTA

  • Training and Experience
      • One year of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant is desired
      • Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider
      • Good communication skills
      • Basic computer skills
    • Health and Background Requirements
      • Employment contingent upon successful completion of:
        • Background Check
        • Lab Work
        • Immunization Records
