Scope of Responsibility

The Respiratory Therapist will also perform diagnostic procedures and ensure ventilators and life support equipment are operable.

Responsible to Director of Cardiopulmonary

  • Education
    • Associates Degree or two year Certification in Respiratory Care
    • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board

  • Training and Experience
    • Attains and Maintains American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider
    • Attains and Maintains NRP within 90 days of hire and ACLS,PALS within 6 months of hire
    • 1 year Respiratory care experience preferred

  • Health and Background Requirements
    • Employment contingent upon successful completion of:
      • Background Check
      • Lab Work
      • Immunization Records

Rarely (Less than ½ hour per day)
