Scope of Responsibility
As an Emergency Room Tech (ER Tech) you will take vital signs, EKGs, monitor cardiac and respiratory signs, transport patients, disinfect and prepare instruments, and stock supplies. The ER Tech will also provide patient care in other aspects under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
Responsible to Director of Emergency Services
- Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Training and Experience- 1 – 2 years previous experience preferred or completion of Nurse Aide course
- Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider
- EMT or Paramedic experience preferred
