Scope of Responsibility

The Massage Therapist is also responsible for treating patients in response to a physician's prescription.

• Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology or related field preferred
• 
  Training and Experience
• Current licensure with the Texas Board of Licensed Massage Therapist within 90 days of employment
• Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider and AED Certification within 30 days of hire
•
