Scope of Responsibility
The OB Tech will assist the surgical team in performing surgical procedures by maintaining sterile fields, passing instruments, stabilizing equipment and properly handling specimens.
Responsible to Birthing Center Supervisor
- Education

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Training and Experience
- Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider
- Obtain and maintain American Academy of Pediatrics NRP within 4 months of employment
- 1 year current hospital or nursing home Nurse Aide experience or completion of Nurse Aide Course preferred
