Scope of Responsibility

Registered Nurses will communicate with physicians, unit director, and co-workers as appropriate regarding changes in the patient’s clinical condition. Other duties to include is to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment, perform general nursing duties in the Inpatient Rehabilitation setting with minimal supervision and to participate in performance improvement activities.

Responsible to Director of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit

  • Education
    • Associates Degree Nurse or Bachelors of Science Nursing Degree

  • Training and Experience
    • Current licensure with the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners
    • Obtains and maintains American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
    • Obtains and maintains ACLS within 6 months of employment
    • 1 year previous experience preferred

  • Health and Background Requirements

      • Immunization Records
