Scope of Responsibility

The Cardiovascular Technician will also be administering and monitoring exercise and pharmacologic stress testing, performing cardiac rhythm device interrogations, managing remote cardiac device monitoring, coordinating the anticoagulation (Coumadin) clinic, performing electrocardiograms (ECGs), and providing patient education while ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care.

Responsible to the Operations Director of GRMG

Education

    • Master's degree in Physiology, Exercise Physiology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field

Training and Experience

    • Must obtain and maintain BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
    • Experience in outpatient cardiology preferred.
    • Experience with cardiac stress testing preferred.
    • Experience with cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) interrogation preferred.
    • Experience managing remote cardiac device monitoring preferred.
    • Experience coordinating an anticoagulation clinic preferred.
    • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current insurance coverage.
