Scope of Responsibility

The Senior Maintenance Tech may also work under the supervision of HVAC mechanics, plumbers, painters, carpenters or electricians. Other duties include performing preventative maintenance, trouble shooting and repairs in accordance with applicable NFPA, CMS and Joint Commission Standards.

Responsible to the Director of Maintenance

Education

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Associates degree in electronics, industrial technology or related field of study preferred

Training and Experience

    • Minimum 2 years experience in a technical maintenance field preferred
    • 1-2 years Hospital experience preferred
    • 1-2 years of basic HVAC, plumbing and electrical experience preferred
    • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and current insurance coverage
