Responsibilities Job Summary: The Treasury Department at H-E-B plays a critical role in ensuring the financial stability and operational efficiency of our large-scale retail operations. Responsible for managing and optimizing H-E-B's cash flow to support daily operations, strategic initiatives, and long-term growth. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions: Prepares and updates daily cash position reports across all bank accounts. Assists in short-term cash flow forecasting (1-7 days) by gathering data from AP, AR, and payroll. Executes routine wire transfers and internal fund movements. Monitors bank balances and ensures sufficient liquidity for daily operations. Supports Treasury operations including payment processing and bank reconciliations. Maintains Treasury documentation and assist with audit requests. The responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position. Qualifications & Key Requirements: Intermediate individual contributor in a professional role. Works independently within an established framework, receiving detailed instructions only on new assignments. Possesses specialized knowledge and skills required to perform the role. Applies practical knowledge, learned theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies to difficult but non-complex, conventional assignments. Majority of work efforts are focused on meeting objectives related to implementation or delivery of processes, programs, and/or policies. Builds productive internal and external working relationships. Work Experience: No previous professional experience required. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Attention to detail and analytical skills Education: Bachelor’s Degree Accounting, finance or related field Licenses/Certifications: CPA certification is a plus Physical Demands & Working Conditions: Function in a fast-paced, office environment Travel by car or plane with overnight stays Work extended hours; sit for extended periods Occasionally lift 20 lbs or more The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a Partner encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
