**NOTE: Starting pay is negotiable and will be based on incoming skillset/experience**

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

· Package outgoing shipments per requirements and label material, if required.

· Verify accuracy of shipments by counting, weighing, or measuring items and comparing size, weight, description, and part number with information on packing slip and purchase orders.

· Perform visual inspection of incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and overall condition of shipments.

· Record any shipments for discrepancies, damage or defects and notify department manager.

· Photograph and record all incoming and outgoing shipments.

· Move inventory to various locations manually and by operating mechanical equipment, including fork lift, pallet jack, and handcart.

· Complete training requirements prior to using Forklift.

· Review and maintain shipping and receiving log.

· Process material in the Quarantine Area in a timely manner.

· Reviews and maintains Quarantine log.

· Review and maintain inventory/stock log.

· Take physical inventory count periodically, and check against inventory/stock log.

· Follow QMS procedures at all times.

· Ensure department is well maintained and kept organized.

· Perform other tasks as directed by the Purchasing Manager or Top Management.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must have good working knowledge of part numbers and inventory control systems
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Shipping/receiving experience in manufacturing environment (Preferred)
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret written instruction
• Previous experience using FEDEX, UPS software as well as international shipping experience is a plus

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of shipping/receiving experience in manufacturing environment or equivalent. (Preferred)
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
