General Information:

Oversee the production operations of up to 15 Surface Mount Technology (SMT) automated placement lines and approximately 30 team members on the assigned shift (A, B, C, or D shift). Coordinates and directs the activities of their shift’s SMT production team engaged in the manufacture of various product assemblies. The role requires the ability to drive overall success of their teams for OEE, output, quality, attendance, labor cost, fluctuation, and other key metrics.

Your Responsibilities:

• Coordinate SMT production activities to meet build schedules and quality goals.
• Supervise team leaders, team members of assigned shift and pool area.
• Maintain positive employee relations and drive fluctuation on assigned shift and pool area.
• Ensure operators are qualified for their positions and in compliance with IMT system, policies and procedures, and performance management.
• Perform 5S Audits to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with accident reports and investigations.
• Issue detailed shift reports and escalate issues per Standard Operating Procedures.

Your Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or GED and 5 Years Manufacturing Experience.
• Preferred 2+ years of direct supervision of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Schaeffler applications.
• Ability to motivate and actively coach on the manufacturing floor.
• Ability to lift up to 28 pounds unassisted and stand for periods of up to 12 hours.
• Must have the capability to push, pull, reach, twist, turn, stoop, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work on a rotational night shift.
