Your Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parameter setting according to work order information
  • Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes and follow documented procedures and processes
  • Inspect manufactured parts, identify defects and discard defective parts, and follow proper protocolSupport maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime, and inspection of machines
  • Associates will be capable of performing complete preventative maintenance routines utilizing established checklists designed to return the equipment to its original state.
  • Actively participates in the completion of required preventative maintenance activities.
  • Actively preserve normal conditions of equipment and/or processes
  • Performs first-response troubleshooting and minor first-line maintenance activities during line-down situations.
  • Respond quickly to abnormalities by repairing the machine or having a technician take care of it when he/she does not have enough knowledge, skill, or resources.
  • Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Associates will be capable of performing complete preventative maintenance routines utilizing established checklists designed to return the equipment to its original state.
  • Follow established production and quality procedures.
  • Participate in the team’s daily start-up communications meeting, assign work, and establish job rotation.
  • Maintain personal OJT/IMT training documentation.
  • Ensures the team achieves daily 5S+2, Quality, Delivery, Kaizen, and Cost goals.
  • Employs various problem-solving techniques (5 Why, 8 D, Cause and Effect, and Fishbone Diagrams, etc.) to drive problems to permanent corrective action.
  • Participate in team Kaizen activities to ensure continuous improvement within the work cell.

Your Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and 18 years of age.
  • Required to work a 12-hour work scheduler
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in EnglishAbility to operate basic machinery in a manufacturing environment
  • Good visual acuity
  • Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
  • Must be able to work night shift.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 28 pounds unassisted. Must be able to stand for periods up to 12 hours.
  • Must be able to Push, Pull Reach, Twist, Turn, Stoop, Walk, Stand for 12 hours.
  • Must be able to work night shift.
