General Information:
The Corporate Claims Coordinator ensures prompt reimbursement process for nonconformance quality and logistic issues. The goal is to achieve timely reimbursement with the best possible negotiations.
Your Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess claims.
- Submit/respond to contract partner claims promptly.
- Collect and coordinate cost collection and evidence for claims.
- Track and follow-up on claims until conclusion ensuring closure within defined timelines and quality standards
- Negotiate claims <50 KEUR/advocate for location interests.
- Supporting role in all claim values at location.
- Train staff on reimbursement process and ensure adherence to standardized claim procedures.
- Advise business responsible person on claim processing and decision making.
- Attend monthly meetings to report reimbursement status.
- Ensure data integrity and completeness of claim documentation.
- Cross Functional Collaboration with: Quality Engineering, Production/Manufacturing, Supply Chain/Material Planning and Purchasing. Ensuring alignment and fast resolution across departments
Dimensions/Magnitude:
- Manages and supports to reach the target (85% recovery).
- Manages and supports the Category manager for cases >50KEUR.
- Permanent dedicated person in charge of supporting, rolling out, and training claim process at level Plant.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field.
- Automotive experience required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Finance, supply chain, or production management related areas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective negotiation and communication capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge in SAP Management, MS OFFICE, Global Logistics, 8D, Quality Management System, Negotiation, Finance, and Project Management.
- Very good intercultural competence.
- Data Driven Decision Making.
- Sense of Urgency and Ownership – ensures deadlines are met.
- Ability to remain effective in challenging situations.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship.
