General Information:
The Investment Program Manager manages a dedicated set of projects and the respectively accountable project management staff, on a strategic level.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead medium to long term planning and prioritization processes for all projects assigned.
- Act as escalation point of contact within defined escalation paths.
- Decide about conflicting targets or resource request.
- Monitor project progress, and contribute to go/no-go decisions.
- Interact and communicate with senior stakeholder peer-groups or customers.
- Reports to the IE Manager with Functional Reporting to Head of BD Controls.
- Point of contact for all questions relating to the investment of projects for all of BD Controls within E-Mobility.
- Expert which knows the CER Process, the appendant Procedures and Rules very well and is able to work with them.
- Spreading the knowledge from optimized CER Process to the own organization unit (e.g., business division, business unit, plant manager, segment manager).
- Establishment/Support of an Investment Project Manager Network.
- Support/Training of Investment Project Manager in Business within the framework of their Investment Projects (Multiplier).
- First contact person (First Level Support) for all questions related investments.
- Interface between Corporate Departments and Investment Project Managers (Communication will be done with a Team "Investment Process").
- Checks the investment applications for their correctness/completeness before forwarding to the gateway.
- Compiling an agreed implementation concept (including the timely involvement and notification of all the necessary business divisions and the technical and commercial departments).
- Coordinating the project at the relevant plant (including set-up and initial operation).
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Management, Project Management, or a related field required.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Project Management, Capital Investments, Industrial Engineering, Business Development, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading medium to large-scale investment projects within a multinational manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, including project prioritization, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated experience supporting investment approval processes, business case development, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) governance.
- Experience working with global and cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Finance, Operations, Purchasing, and Business Leadership.
