General Information:

The Tool Crib Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for supervising MRO personnel, managing and controlling spare part inventory levels, and ensuring the availability of critical maintenance materials to support plant operations. This role coordinates inventory control activities, oversees the weekly MRP release process, and collaborates with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, suppliers, and process engineers to maintain supply continuity, resolve issues affecting spare part availability, and support accurate equipment documentation.

Your Responsibilities:

• Supervise MRO personnel and provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and support.
• Manage and control spare part inventory levels to ensure appropriate stock, maintain spare part availability, and avoid excess inventory.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities related to spare parts sourcing, stocking, and usage.
• Ensure accurate stock levels by performing and reviewing SAP cycle counts.
• Oversee the weekly release of the MRP run to support timely replenishment planning.
• Work with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm pricing, manage delivery expectations, and expedite orders when necessary to support spare part availability.
• Partner with Purchasing and Accounts Payable as needed to resolve supply, invoice, or availability issues affecting spare parts.
• Work with process engineers to ensure accurate Bills of Materials for production equipment.
• Support continuous improvement efforts in inventory accuracy, material flow, and maintenance support processes.

Your Qualifications:

• Experience in maintenance, inventory control, or MRO operations.
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Working knowledge of SAP and inventory management processes.
• Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal partners such as Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Maintenance, process engineers, and external suppliers.
